Entrepreneurs received drug prevention material produced by the Justice Department

The Justice Department of the State of Pará, in partnership with the Acelera Amazônia Institute, promoted a citizenship action at an event focused on women's entrepreneurship this Saturday (17) in Belém. Services such as referrals for document issuance, consumer rights assistance, and drug prevention were offered.

According to the head of Seju, Evandro Garla, promoting women's entrepreneurship aligns with the social inclusion work carried out by the department. "This involves having updated documentation to exercise the profession and the guidance provided by the Consumer Protection and Defense Directorate (Procon)," he explains.

Referrals for ID and second copies of certificates were some of the services offered

On this occasion, Seju provided services such as referrals for ID and exemption from the second copy of birth, marriage, and death certificates, Digital Work Card, second copy of CPF, and registration on the gov.br platform. Procon, in addition to public assistance, distributed copies of the Consumer Defense Code and other informational materials about rights in consumer relations.

Carol Sampaio, citizenship coordinator, advises on ID renewal

Carol Sampaio, Citizenship Coordinator of the Justice Department, emphasized to the public the importance of updating the ID. "The document has an expiration date and needs to be renewed; otherwise, there is a risk of it not being accepted for registration in a public notice, a social registration, or another process that requires updated documentation. Therefore, it is important to take advantage of the services of agencies like Seju to get better guidance on the subject."

Housewife Rosângela Alves took advantage of the event to find out how she could obtain a second copy of her birth certificate. "My original certificate is already deteriorated. But, since I am from the municipality of Mãe do Rio, it ends up being expensive for me to go to the city and pay for a new copy. Here they explained to me about the possibility of getting an exemption to obtain the document and also guided me on registration for social benefits," she states.
