Integrated action seizes cell phones and semi-jewels with irregular invoices in the river network of Óbidos
The seized goods, valued at R$ 370,000, went through the appropriate procedures and were sent to the headquarters of the Federal Revenue.

The daily surveillance actions in the river network in Óbidos, in the Lower Amazon region, through the Integrated River Base "Candiru", resulted in the seizure of 101 bags of semi-jewels and 23 cell phones that did not present regular invoices. The items originated from the Free Trade Zone of Manaus. The goods are valued at R$ 370,000.00.

"In addition to our actions against crime, we also work alongside the Federal Revenue's surveillance actions in combating smuggling and the transport of goods without proof of invoices required by tax authorities. Our commitment is to continue working with dedication and efficiency to protect our rivers and ensure surveillance for the benefit of all," said the head of Segup, Ualame Machado.
During the approach to the vessel "A Noiva III", which was coming from the city of Manaus and heading to the city of Santarém, in western Pará, the integrated teams of the Military Police, Civil Police, Federal Revenue, and River Security Group (Gflu) conducted an approach to one of the passengers who was transporting a suitcase with 101 bags of semi-jewels, which did not have invoices. The seized merchandise was valued at R$ 350,000.00.
In a continuous action, during the approach to another vessel named N/M Ana Karolina II, also from Amazonas, the integrated teams identified a cargo in the parcel compartment containing 23 cell phones, for which the invoices presented inconsistencies. The equipment was valued at R$ 20,000.00 and was destined for the city of Santarém, in Pará.

The seized goods went through the appropriate procedures and were sent to the headquarters of the Federal Revenue.
