Fapespa promotes over R$ 12 million in innovative projects

The Amazon Foundation for Support of Studies and Research (Fapespa) is currently accepting applications for the Tecnova III Economic Subsidy for Innovation Program. The call aims to promote technological innovation in micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises by providing financial support for the development of innovative products, processes, or services.

This call is a partnership between the Government of Pará, through Fapespa, in collaboration with the Financing Agency for Studies and Projects (Finep) and resources from the National Fund for Scientific and Technological Development (FNDCT). The deadline for submitting proposals for Tecnova III is until May 20. The final list of approved projects will be published on October 20, 2025.

To provide more details about the call and answer questions from interested parties, the Foundation will hold an online workshop next Friday (16) at 11 a.m. Those interested in participating need to register through the REGISTRATION FORM.

“Tecnova III represents a great opportunity for companies in Pará to evolve in the use of technology, aiming for increasingly sustainable businesses aligned with the new market demands. It is a significant opportunity to use subsidy resources to improve their companies and become more competitive. We cannot miss this opportunity, and we certainly hope that many projects have been submitted to Fapespa so that we can fully utilize this resource and boost the economy of Pará,” details the president of Fapespa, Marcel Botelho.

Innovation- The main objective of the Tecnova III Program is to promote a significant increase in innovation activities and enhance the competitiveness of companies in Pará and the economy of the country. Thus, the call aims to support innovation projects that involve technological risk associated with market opportunities.

Eligible for the call are companies from Pará, individually or in association with other Brazilian company(ies), that meet the following conditions: gross revenue in the last fiscal year equal to or less than R$ 16,000,000.00; registration date with the Commercial Board (Jucepa) or in the Civil Registry of Legal Entities (RCPJ) of their jurisdiction at least six months before the launch of the notice - until 10/05/2024, and demonstrate having carried out any operational, non-operational, asset, or financial activity at least three months before the launch of the notice - 01/03/2025.

The subsidy may cover operational and capital expenses related to the project activities. Each proposal may request between R$ 318,000.00 and R$ 489,230.77, with a total amount of R$ 12,720,000.00 allocated to the Program. The launch of the notice, held online on the 3rd, is available on the YouTube channel of Fapespa.
