Government delivers 13 tractors for the development of family farming in Pará
In the year 2025 alone, there were over R$ 6 million in investments in the agricultural sector

The Government of Pará, through the Secretary of Agricultural Development and Fisheries (Sedap), delivered on this Monday, the 12th, at the Government Palace, 13 tractors to promote family farming in the State.
The municipalities that received one tractor each were: Anajás, Aurora do Pará, Concórdia do Pará, Mãe do Rio, Melgaço, Ourém, Portel, São Domingos do Capim, Santa Maria, Terra Alta, Tomé-Açu, Tracuateua, and Novo Progresso.
Adding the first delivery of the year, which was 12 tractors, with this Monday's delivery, the State has already ensured the delivery of 25 tractors, totaling R$ 6 million in investments.

Governor Helder Barbalho highlights the importance of agriculture for the State of Pará, with food production and job generation. “What we are doing here is allowing these municipalities to receive agricultural tractors that will support family farming and stimulate mechanized production, thus increasing the food supply at the production scale, ensuring income for the rural producer and guaranteeing that food prices can be reduced.”
Wandenkolk Gonçalves, deputy secretary of Sedap, states that this delivery is part of a project by the secretary for agricultural mechanization. "The State Government, in partnership with the municipalities, delivers these machines to increase productivity and production without cutting down a tree, using fertilization and technology to make agriculture stronger, more vibrant, and generate jobs and income."

"The delivery of this tractor will help a lot in the municipality and will be used in agriculture, and this delivery is especially important for me, as I am from the rural area of Ipitinga," said Pedro Nunes Pantoja, who is a driver in Aurora do Pará.
Antônio do Elcio, from Concórdia do Pará, is happy to receive the agricultural tractor. "This gift we are receiving today will be of great use in the community," he declared.
