PC arrests two people in the act for bodily injury and racial slur during RexPa
The events occurred during the classic football match in Pará at Mangueirão on Sunday (11), and the police action was carried out with the support of the Military Police of Pará

The Civil Police of Pará, through the Delegacy of Protection to the Fan and Major Events (DPTGE), made two arrests in the act for bodily injury and racial slur, and filed a Circumstantial Occurrence Term (TCO) against ten fans linked to organized fan clubs, this Sunday (11), in Belém. The actions took place during inspections carried out by the Civil and Military police at the decisive football match between the teams Remo and Paysandu.
"Initially, our team was called by a Rotam squad that detained ten members of the Paysandu fan club. The fans allegedly failed to comply with the route previously agreed upon with the security system and became involved in confrontations with various members of the Clube do Remo fan club on Augusto Montenegro Avenue. The Civil Police team carried out the procedure for the apprehension of these fans," highlights the head of DPTGE, delegate Marcos André Araújo.

As a result of the events, a Circumstantial Occurrence Term (TCO) was filed against the ten fans in question, based on the General Sports Law, in view of Article 201, §1, item III, of Law No. 14.597/2023, which defines participation in confrontations between organized fan clubs as a criminal act.
Among the investigated, two individuals were presented for carrying homemade bombs and, for this reason, two TCOs were also filed, one for each involved, considering Article 201, § 1, item II, of the General Sports Law, which defines the possession of materials that can be used to commit acts of violence at sporting events as a crime.

The materials were seized and sent to the technical expertise at the Renato Chaves Scientific Expertise Center to verify their potential for harm and any configuration as explosive devices. All suspects were taken to the Special Court for Fans (JECRIM), set up at the stadium, for the appropriate legal procedures.
Throughout the event, the Civil Police also made two arrests in the act for different crimes. In the first case, a woman was apprehended for the crimes of bodily injury and sports disturbance. According to the information gathered, the suspect attempted to force access to the stadium without carrying her minor child's ticket, and, in response to the security agents' refusal, assaulted one of them with a punch to the nose, causing bodily injury.

In a second moment, a man was arrested in the act for racial slur for arguing and insulting an employee of one of the stadium bars. The victim and the aggressor were taken to the on-duty police authority for the appropriate legal procedures, as well as their witnesses. In just over 1 year and 3 months since the inauguration of the DPTGE, this was the first case of racism recorded by the unit.
Also on the occasion, five more Police Occurrence Bulletins (BOP) were registered for different situations at the police unit operating in the area.
