The technical director of Seel, Gisele Almeida, closely followed the discussion and reports that she learned about sports management experiences developed in countries such as Germany, Belgium, and England. “The Sports Intelligence Seminar was of great importance for Seel for various strategic and operational reasons. It highlighted the relevance of using training tools, coordination, and modernization of sports public policies.

The seminar, Gisele said, also presented the changes brought about by the enactment of the General Sports Law and its implications for the mandatory provision of information to the Federal Government and the use of fund-to-fund transfers for sports financing,” said the director.

In addition to international speakers, the 6th edition of SIGPE also featured the participation of prominent names from the Federal Government, the Brazilian Olympic and Paralympic Committees, the Sports Commission of the Chamber of Deputies, and professors from Brazilian universities, such as UFBa, represented by Professor Doctor Augusto César Leiro from the Department of Physical Education II.
