Governor Helder Barbalho reinforced the State's commitment to regional development and highlighted the progress in the health sector with the transformation of the municipal hospital into a regional unit.

"We are already building together the solution to transform the municipal hospital into a regional hospital, which will improve the quality of health care. It will benefit Parauapebas, Curionópolis, Eldorado, Canaã, and even the people from PA-279. We built and delivered, for the first time, a regional hospital on PA-279, as a result of the investments we are bringing to this entire region."

In the area of higher education, Helder Barbalho emphasized the efforts to ensure more access to public and quality education in the south and southeast of the state.
