The complete announcement of the Social Program CNH Pai D'égua – special edition Atypical Mothers is now available on the website of the State Traffic Department (Detran). The announcement is part of the program's actions for 2024 and will ensure 4,000 spots in all regions of the state for the issuance of a completely free Driver's License.

In this edition, the target audience is mothers with neuroatypical children, that is, those who have some physical or intellectual disability, rare syndromes, neurological disorders, autism spectrum disorders, or chronic illnesses, requiring continuous and specialized care.

In addition to providing access to the job market, the CNH Pai D'égua is a way to include these mothers who often have an intense routine with activities and therapies, needing support in transporting children and adolescents.

This action is part of the state policy for social inclusion and mobility and marks the celebrations for Mother's Day. “The State Government also wants to be part of this much-needed support network. In addition to providing a job opportunity, the CNH can help these mothers acquire a vehicle and thus facilitate the daily lives and special care of these families,” explains the general director of Detran, Renata Coelho.

According to the announcement, mothers registered and updated in the Cadastro Único (CadÚnico) can apply for the special edition of CNH Pai D'égua until February 28, 2025, with a report of their child issued by the Unified Health System (SUS) and who do not have an active Renach, among other requirements.
