The Civil Police of the State of Pará, through the Fan Protection and Major Events Police Station (DPTGE), a unit linked to the Division of Investigations and Special Operations (Dioe), launched the operation "Phantom Phoenix" to execute search and seizure warrants at the headquarters of the organized fan clubs "Remoçada" and "Terror Bicolor", which have been extinct by court decision since 2007, and to remove from circulation any and all products that referenced the fan clubs.

“During the matches of the Remo and Paysandu clubs, we received many materials that referenced the extinct fan clubs. When approached, the fans informed us that these products were acquired at the headquarters of the organized fan clubs, which led us to represent before the Justice for the obtaining of judicial search and seizure warrants so that we could collect products that alluded to 'Remoçada' and 'Terror Bicolor', such as accessories, insignias, symbols, and year of foundation associated with the banned organizations. Our team's action occurred to duly comply with the judicial decision that prohibits the circulation of the referred materials,” explained delegate Marcos André Araújo, director of DPTGE.

The recurrence in the use of symbols, names, or expressions of the extinct fan clubs may constitute the crime of disobedience, as provided in Article 359 of the Penal Code, since it violates the express determination of the Judiciary.

The PCPA reaffirms its commitment to preserving public order, ensuring safety at major sporting events, and respecting current legal and judicial determinations.

Shirts, caps, bracelets, banners, cups, shorts, and other materials were seized and sent to the Fan Protection and Major Events Police Station (DPTGE).

Phantom Phoenix - The name of the operation alludes to the attempt of clandestine restructuring of the organized fan clubs "Remoçada" and "Terror Bicolor", linked respectively to the clubs Remo and Paysandu, both formally extinct by a court decision issued in 2007 by the 1st Public Treasury Court of the Capital. The said decision determined the extinction of the fan clubs, the cancellation of their CNPJs with the competent registries, and the prohibition of the use of any names, symbols, or expressions that refer to the dissolved organizations.
