The final between Paysandu and Remo starts this Wednesday (7)
Remo and Paysandu will decide the title of Parazão Banpará starting this Wednesday (7), at 9 PM, at Mangueirão. The match will be broadcast on TV, Portal, App, YouTube, and Rádio Cultura, in partnership with TV Brasil. The broadcast of the match will begin at 8 PM, with the program Meio de Campo. This is the 777th classic in history.
"Today we will have the first game of the Parazão final and on Sunday (11) the second. We managed to establish a very nice partnership with TV Brasil. Together with TV Cultura do Pará, we will broadcast live across Brazil. This shows the affection of the State Government for Pará football, showcasing the passion of the people of Pará for Remo and Paysandu in the grand final of the championship," said the president of Cultura Rede de Comunicação, Miro Sanova.
As the biggest champion of the championship with 50 titles, Paysandu is seeking the three-peat of the competition and to end a streak of nine matches without victories this season. In Series B, Papão is in second to last place.
On the other hand, Remo aims for the 48th state title and to continue their unbeaten streak of eight matches this season. In Series B, Leão is in 3rd place.
Remo and Paysandu also decided the final of Parazão Banpará in 2024. On that occasion, Papão came out on top after winning the first game 2-0 and drawing the second match 1-1.
This season, Remo and Paysandu drew 1-1 in their only encounter, during the 7th round of Parazão Banpará.
The second game of the Parazão Banpará final will be played on Sunday (11), at 5 PM, also at Mangueirão.
