With investments in technology, the Government of Pará consolidates a new model of service to citizens, which stands out for being agile, practical, and increasingly digital. By creating the Pará Digital portal, the State centralizes, in just one online environment, 428 public services — with 100 fully digital and 33 partially digitized — in essential areas such as health, security, education, environment, and citizenship.

According to Prodepa (Information and Communication Technology Company of the State), responsible for technological infrastructure and system development, the impact of digitalization goes beyond modernization. “I see daily the positive impact that our digital solutions have on people's lives and the efficiency of the Government of Pará. We facilitate access to public services in a simple, fast, and bureaucratic-free way, even without needing to leave home,” informs Domingos Santos, director of System Development at the company.

Among the agencies that have advanced the most in digital transformation is the Commercial Board of the State of Pará (Jucepa), which since 2020 has offered 100% digital service for opening, changing, and closing companies through the Redesim platform. The documents are electronically signed, with full
legal validity.

Quality - For the president of Jucepa, Filipe Meireles, digitalization represents an administrative advance. “It was an achievement that placed the State at the forefront of modernization and strengthened the business environment, making it more efficient, transparent, and accessible for all Pará entrepreneurs,” he states.

The user's perception reflects this advancement. Accountant Eduardo Santos, who uses Jucepa's digital system, assures that the service “goes beyond quality; it always seeks excellence. Besides facilitating, it was agile and very practical. Of course, I would like it to continue.”

Another highlight in the Government's structure is the Department of Traffic (Detran), which offers various services exclusively online. Among them are the registration of accidents without victims (Sisdat), defense and appeal of infractions, vehicle auctions, CRLV (Vehicle Registration and Licensing Certificate) and digital CNH (National Driver's License), debt installment, scheduling, and consultation of infractions. There are more than 15 procedures that citizens can perform from anywhere, without the need for physical attendance.

More than 80 services - The State Department of Finance (Sefa) has also been intensifying the use of digital resources. In the first quarter of this year, it recorded 13,400 services through the portal, which offers 86 services, some of them via e-Gov login or digital certificate. Remote service is another differential, with support via phone, email, chat, video call, and instant messaging.

“Public management becomes more agile and transparent, bringing citizens closer to the State, saving their time and bringing digital inclusion to all corners of Pará. We are building a more connected and human future,” concludes Domingos Santos from Prodepa.

Among the systems developed by Prodepa are:
• Virtual Police Station: occurrence reports
• Artran wallets (Regulatory and Control Agency for Public Transport Services): digital issuance for intermunicipal transport
• SIV Mulher (Integrated Service System): for victims of gender violence
• Registration for Bariatric Surgeries: digital public health monitoring
• Sisp: integration of public security forces
• Cell Alert: blocking stolen cell phones
• Transparency Pará: portal with data on government spending and actions
• Sispatri: declaration of assets by public servants
