The Organized Crime Repression Division (DRCO) of the Civil Police of Pará, through the Criminal Faction Repression Delegation (DRFC), successfully completed another phase of the "Renorcrim/Parabellum" operation this Friday, April 2nd. This time, the target was a woman identified as a leader of a criminal organization operating in the state. According to investigations, the woman from Pará acted as the "HR of crime," selecting and registering new members for the faction.

Today's action, carried out in a community in the municipality of Cabo Frio (RJ), was supported operationally by the Civil Police of the State of Rio de Janeiro, under the coordination of the Ministry of Justice.

"This is an important arrest considering that this person held a leadership role within the organization in the state of Pará, but had been on the run in Rio for a long time," highlighted Ualame Machado, Secretary of State for Public Security and Social Defense (Segup).

Breno Ruffeil, director of the DRFC, spoke about the pivot of the action. "The suspect became known in the national press for flaunting a rifle at a funk party in the Penha complex in Rio de Janeiro. Two other women were caught in the act during the operation. One of them, also from Pará, was responsible for transporting drugs from one favela to another without raising suspicion," explained the delegate.

With the arrest of the suspect, the operation has now executed 35 preventive arrest warrants between April 18 and May 2 of this year, as part of the Parabellum/Renocrim operation.

"Today's operation is yet another integrated action by the Civil Police of Pará in the fight against interstate organized crime," informed Benassuly, the general delegate of PCPA.

"The agents executed a preventive arrest warrant against the main suspect, and the other faction members will be charged with drug trafficking and conspiracy to traffic drugs," he concluded. The women were taken for the necessary procedures and remain at the disposal of the judiciary.

The action of the DRFC also received support in organizing from the Police Intelligence Nucleus (NIP), of the National Public Security Secretariat (SENASP) and the Integrated Operations and Intelligence Directorate (DIOPI), in addition to operational support from the General Police Department of Baixada (RJ) and the São João do Meriti Police Station (RJ). The Interior Police Directorate (DPI/PCPA) and the Dom Eliseu Police Station (PA) provided support during the investigations.
