Cultural Foundation of Pará announces final result of Semear 2025 selection
The Secretary of Finance of Pará (Sefa) allocates R$ 25 million in tax waiver to enable fundraising through Semear

The Cultural Foundation of Pará (FCP) published the final result of the Semear 2025 notice in the edition of this Wednesday, 30, of the Official State Gazette. Approved proposers can access the Cultural Project Management System - Semear (SGP-Semear) to download the Certificate of Compliance. The document is valid for 12 months from the date of issuance, as provided for in the program's legislation. The complete list of approved projects is available on the FCP website.
With the certificates in hand, proposers will be able to raise funds from companies that contribute to the Tax on Circulation of Goods and Services (ICMS) based in Pará and interested in promoting cultural projects through the program. For the fiscal year 2025, the Secretary of Finance of Pará (Sefa) allocated R$ 25 million in tax waiver, enabling fundraising through Semear.
Extension - The Certificates of Compliance for the 2024 Notice, which would have expired in May of this year, will have their validity extended for another 90 days, remaining valid until August 2025. This measure allows cultural producers covered by the Semear 2024 Notice to raise funds using the endorsement of the previous notice.
The executive secretary of the Semear Program, Carmem Fischer, highlights the importance of the decision to extend: "The 90-day extension offers a new opportunity for cultural agents covered by the 2024 notice to raise funds. The measure reinforces the State Government's commitment, through the Cultural Foundation of Pará, to promote Pará's culture," she explains.
Notice - The Semear Program selects cultural projects that can raise funds from companies that contribute to the Tax on Circulation of Goods and Provision of Services (ICMS), benefiting from tax incentives.
The selected proposers registered for the notice in January and went through stages of document analysis, cultural merit evaluation, and technical capacity assessment, with the right to appeal during the process. All phases were conducted through the SGP-Semear, implemented for the first time in this year's edition.
