Faepa donates equipment to strengthen rural patrol in Marajó
Drone, tablet, GPS, and mobile phone will strengthen the georeferenced patrol project of the Military Police in the region

The Federation of Agriculture and Livestock of Pará (Faepa) donated a kit of equipment to the Military Police of Pará on this Monday (28), aiming to strengthen the georeferenced rural patrol in Marajó. The material includes a drone, a tablet, a GPS device, and a mobile phone, which will be used to enhance the actions of the Rural Patrol of the Regional Police Command XI (CPR XI), responsible for the eastern part of the Island.
The delivery was made during a meeting between representatives of the PM, led by the commander of CPR XI, Colonel Guimarães, and the president of Faepa, Carlos Xavier, along with leaders from the Rural Livestock Association of Pará (ARPP) and the Regional Nucleus of Marajó. The meeting also discussed strategies to enhance police action in rural areas of the region.

According to Colonel Guimarães, the new equipment will be essential to optimize the mapping of rural properties, speed up the response time of the teams, and improve communication between the monitoring center and the police in the field. “This union of efforts ensures more efficient security for the rural community, both for farmers and for everyone who transits and works in the region,” highlighted the commander.
Created two months ago, the georeferenced rural patrol in Marajó uses specific technologies to meet the characteristics of the region, such as long distances and properties located outside urban centers. The project integrates the Military Police with rural communities, seeking to offer an even more agile and efficient security service.
