In the first quarter of 2025, the 10th Hemodialysis Center of the State of Pará, which operates within the General Hospital of Tailândia (HGT), performed 1,057 hemodialysis sessions. During the same period, 44 patients were regulated, who previously received treatment in other locations, highlighting the continuous advancement and improvement of the services offered by the hospital unit.

The Executive Director, Eduardo Pereira, emphasized the importance of the advancements achieved by the Hemodialysis Center, stressing the management's commitment to constantly improving the quality of care. "Our goal is to provide an increasingly efficient, accessible, and humanized health service to the population of Tailândia and the region. We believe that humanized care is essential for patients to feel welcomed and cared for in a comprehensive manner," said the manager.

HGT invests in humanized care, and through the Humanization Working Group (GTH), celebrated, on the morning of this Monday (28), the birthday of another patient with the project "Celebrating with Joy". This month, the honored patient was Darcino Gonçalves, who turned 71 years old. A resident of Tailândia, Darcino started treatment at the city's hemodialysis center three months ago.

The celebration was part of the monthly action that honors the birthday celebrants of the month, promoting a moment of fellowship among users and the team. The celebration was attended by users and professionals from the hemodialysis center.

The birthday celebrant Darcino shared his surprise and gratitude for the tribute prepared for him. He highlighted the importance of the gesture and expressed his feelings regarding the celebration.

“The staff here at the center treats us very well and everyone is very cheerful. It was a surprise for me because I didn't expect this surprise, I really didn't expect it, I liked it a lot and I thank everyone, I found everything very good, God bless each one,” said Darcino Gonçalves, who turned 71 years old.

During the event, a cake was served, respecting the dietary needs of each patient, and shared among all present. A decorative plaque with a congratulatory message was placed on the hemodialysis machine to mark the occasion. The aim of the activity was to promote a more welcoming and humane environment, contributing to the well-being of patients during treatment.

Patrícia Manfredi, a nutritionist at the hemodialysis center, explained the importance of this action within the hospital's humanization practices. "Every month, we will hold, as part of our humanization actions, a collective celebration of the birthdays of our users here at the hemodialysis center. This is a moment designed to promote welcome and care for everyone."

She also highlighted how these initiatives are fundamental to strengthening the bond between users and the team. "The goal is for everyone to feel valued and recognized, making treatment at the hemodialysis center a more comfortable and less impersonal experience," concluded Patrícia.
