The construction project for the new Usina da Paz in Benevides, in the Metropolitan Region of Belém, has entered the finalization phase. Soon, the more than 68,000 residents of the municipality will have access to over 70 services provided by what will be the 13th Usina da Paz in operation in Pará.

With delivery expected next May, the new UsiPaz in Benevides is located in the Murinin district, in an area located at Km 09 of the PA-404 highway, KM-09. The newest state citizenship complex will feature a wide, modern, and functional structure to offer free services in the areas of health, education, sports, culture, professional training, and social assistance. The complex will be equipped with medical and dental offices, study and robotics rooms, a sports court, a swimming pool, social spaces, and areas for vocational courses.

For the residents, the expectation for the arrival of the new public facility is high, as stated by Denise Costa, who hopes that the Usina da Paz "brings more and more benefits and improvements in sports, leisure, health, and the implementation of better things for the community," she said.

For resident Marcelo Ferreira, who worked on the construction of the Usina da Paz, this moment is also one of satisfaction for having participated in this important moment for Benevides. "It is a project that will benefit the entire population here in Benevides. This is an area that previously didn't have much and now it will. It will improve a lot," said the worker.

According to the State Secretary of Citizenship Articulation, Elieth Braga, this is yet another project that "reinforces the State Government's commitment to citizenship, education, and social transformation. The Usina da Paz arrives in Benevides to be a space of hope and opportunities, especially for our youth. Here, we will offer access to education, professional training, culture, sports, and so many other services that can change realities."
